Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration (ASBA)

An Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration (ASBA) prepares the student to begin or advance their careers in the business world. It can also be a major step towards completing a bachelor's degree. This program provides a comprehensive understanding of management principles, business-oriented technology, and interpersonal skills to the students.

The purpose of the Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration is to prepare students for entry-level positions in business, industry, federal and local organizations. The program is designed for the students that seek to acquire a complete framework in basic business concepts and skills in order to contribute and create solutions for contemporary business problems. After successful completion of general education and specific program courses, students will be able to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to apply in management, marketing, and accounting concepts to improve operational performance and aid in decision making skills. Students will be prepared to pursue further studies in Business Administration.

This program gives students an understanding of generic business principles. This course will provide participants with the fundamental and relevant knowledge, skills, capabilities and awareness necessary for an associate degree graduate who seeks to further a career or higher studies in Business Administration. Students have the flexibility to elect a concentration in one of the following areas:
